A spinning wheel is essential to the iconic, unpredictable roulette game, and usually there’s only one of them.

Multi-Wheel Roulette changes this, adding more roulette wheels that players can spin at the same time.

Here’s how roulette works when it has multiple wheels.

What is Multi-Wheel Roulette?

Like many other unique roulette variants, Multi-Wheel Roulette is mainly an online game. That’s because it allows each player to decide how many wheels they want to spin. Typically, you’ll get a choice between two to eight wheels, but some providers may offer more.

When you put virtual chips down, your chosen play applies to every wheel. Those chips will also get multiplied by however many wheels you’re playing with. You do not play them separately; you spin all of them at once.

How to Play Multi-Wheel Roulette

Multi-Wheel Roulette starts with you deciding your play, your chip contribution, and how many wheels you want to play. As mentioned, each added wheel will multiply the chips you need to put down. Online, most of the wheels you’ll find will be European.

From there, each wheel plays just like ordinary roulette. When ready, you’ll click the spin button, and a random number generator will determine where each ball lands. Wins and losses are calculated instantly, and you’ll either win or lose chips. Since you’re playing with multiple wheels, some may hit the mark, others might not.

Prize ratios are the same as standard roulette – a straight-up play will get you 35:1 while an outside play like red/black, odd/even, or high/low give 1:1. Once wins/losses have settled, players put more chips down and the game repeats again.

Straight-Up35:1

Odd/Even1:1

Multi-Wheel Roulette Gameplay Examples

Let’s use some examples to show how multiple roulette wheels work.

You decide to play with four wheels at once, and put 10 chips down for each one. You have 40 chips down on red, and it’s time to spin. Two of the wheels land in a black pocket, while the other two land in red. Each wheel is treated independently, so those two wins each have a 1:1 prize – 10 chips, and 20 when you add both wheels up. However, since the other two wheels failed, you’ve also lost 20 chips. It’s a break-even.

Now, if you make a more specific play, like a straight-up play targeting the 8 pocket, then you stand a better chance of winning a larger prize. You put 40 chips down in total, and 30 of them are lost when three wheels miss the 8. Then the last roulette wheel hits, landing on the black 8 pocket.

You get 35:1 – 350 chips, though the 30 lost chips will eat into that slightly. Even then, it’s an extra 320 chips overall.
