The Sweepstakes Rules govern the entry, participation, and prize requirements we apply. Check the current rules before acting because eligibility and submission requirements can change.

The McLuck redemption process

The redemption process at McLuck is simple and secure, and typically moves through three stages as follows:

1. Requesting a Redemption

Players can request a prize redemption from their account by selecting the Redeem option. The number of qualifying Sweepstakes Coins you need depends on the type of prize you choose:

  • 75 qualifying Sweepstakes Coins are required to redeem for a cash prize.
  • 10 qualifying Sweepstakes Coins are required to redeem for gift card prizes.

Each qualifying Sweepstakes Coin corresponds to $1 USD in prize value when redeemed. The two redemption minimums therefore also set the smallest prize available in each category, which puts a gift card prize within reach at a much smaller balance than a cash prize.

2. Verification Checks

Before a redemption can be processed, players may need to complete verification checks to confirm eligibility. Where a check is outstanding, the request stays in review until it is complete. This may include providing:

  • a government-issued ID, to confirm your identity;
  • proof of address, to confirm the address registered to your account;
  • facial verification, where it is requested;
  • SSN confirmation, where it is required for tax reporting.

These checks help ensure that accounts meet the eligibility requirements set out in the Sweepstakes Rules. Where a document is requested, sending it promptly is what keeps the request moving, because the redemption cannot be processed until the check is resolved.

3. Processing the request

Once the redemption request is submitted and verification checks are complete, the request moves into processing. Redemption requests are handled as soon as practicable. After approval, the prize is processed through the selected payment method.

Why a McLuck redemption may show as pending

If a redemption shows as pending, it usually means the request is still being reviewed or processed. Pending is a status to interpret rather than a fault.

Some common reasons your redemption may still show as pending include:

  • verification is still in progress and the checks have not yet completed;
  • redemption details still need to be confirmed;
  • security or fraud checks are running on the request;
  • the provider handling the redemption is still processing it.

For larger prize requests, additional checks may also be required.

Important McLuck redemption requirements

The following requirements must be met before a prize redemption can be requested:

Before you get started

  • Sweepstakes Coins must be used at least once in a Sweepstakes Game before they count toward a redemption request.
  • The payment method selected must match the name on the account.
  • All required verification checks must be completed.

Sweepstakes Coins themselves do not have monetary value, but qualifying Sweepstakes Coins may be redeemed for prizes once eligibility requirements are met.

Applicable daily redemption limits

Below are the daily redemption limits that apply alongside the timing rules:

  • prize redemptions may be limited to $10,000 per day.
  • for Florida residents, the maximum amount that can be redeemed per day is $5,000.
